LKA function

LKA activation/deactivation:

Wenn der Zündschlüssel in Stellung ON steht, wird das LKA-System Automaticisch eingeschaltet.

Die Anzeige ( The LKA indicator on the instrument cluster first lights up white. When the LKA button on the instrument cluster is pressed, the LKA system is turned off and the LKA indicator on the instrument cluster goes out.

The color of the indicator changes depending on the state of the LKA system.

- White: The sensor does not detect the lane marking or the vehicle speed is less than 60 km/h.
- Green: The sensor detects the lane marking and the system can steer the steering wheel.

LKA activation

• To display the LKA system screen on the LCD display in the instrument cluster, select the ASSIST mode ( ).
• For more details, refer to "User Settings Mode" on page 4-66.
• After the LKA function is activated and both lane markings are detected, when the speed is above 60 km/h and all activation conditions are met, the steering wheel indicator lights up green and steering control is provided.

WARNING

The Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) system helps prevent the driver from unintentionally leaving the lane. However, the driver must not rely solely on the system and must always check the road conditions while driving.

When the vehicle speed is above 60 km/h and the system detects a lane marking, the color changes from gray to white.

Warning

When the vehicle crosses a lane, the crossed lane marking flashes on the LCD display and a warning chime sounds.

❈ Haptic Warning: When the vehicle leaves the lane, the crossed lane marking flashes on the LCD display, and the steering wheel vibrates.

Wenn die nachstehenden Bedingungen erfüllt sind, kann das LKA-System die Lenkung unterstützen.

• Das Tempo Liegt über 60 km/h.
• Both lane markings are detected by the LKA system.
• Das Fahrzeug befindet sich zwischen den Spurmarkierungen.

When the LKA system can provide steering assistance, the green steering wheel indicator light illuminates.

Wenn das Fahrzeug die Fahrspur verlässt, weil das Lenkraddrehmoment des Hilfssystems nicht ausreicht, blinkt die Linienanzeige für die Seite der Abweichung, und es wird ein Warnton ausgegeben.

Halten Sie das Lenkrad fest (wenn das LKA-System aktiviert ist).

When the driver releases the steering wheel for several seconds while LKAS is activated, the system warns the driver.

WARNING

• Depending on road conditions, the warning may be delayed. Therefore, always keep your hands on the steering wheel while driving.
• If you only lightly hold the steering wheel, the system may generate a hands-off warning, because the LKA system may interpret the situation as you not holding the steering wheel.
