Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Press the sunroof switch to fully open the sliding glass.

  2. Remove the roof side molding.

    (Refer to Body Side Moldings - "Roof Side Molding")

  3. Pull the square wire (A) left and right, then apply force in the direction of the arrow to cut off the remaining sealant.

  4. Carefully remove the windshield (A) without damaging it.

Installation

  1. Install the roof side molding.

  2. Press the sunroof switch to fully close the sliding glass.

  3. Use a blade to cut away the remaining sealant (A) around the body panel.

  4. Clean the body panel edges and the windshield with alcohol or an air gun.

  5. Using a sealant gun, apply sealant (B) around the body panel (A).

  6. Install the windshield (A) loosely onto the body panel.

  7. Check the gap and flush before the front glass (A) is fully installed.

  8. Apply masking tape around the windshield to prevent the glass from falling out.
