Repair Procedures

Removal

1. 1

   Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. 2

   Remove the steering wheel assembly.

   (Refer to Steering System - "Steering Wheel")

3. 3

   Loosen the mounting screws (A).

   

4. 4

   Remove the steering wheel remote control assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

   

5. 5

   Disconnect the remote control switch connectors on the steering wheel (A).

   

6. 6

   Remove the steering wheel remote controls (A) by pressing the hooks in the direction of the arrow.

Installation

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Inspection

1. Check the resistance between the terminals at each switch position.
