Daytime running lights (DRL) can make it easier for others to see the front of the vehicle during the day. The DRL can be useful in many different driving conditions, and is especially useful after dawn and before sunset. The DRL system turns off when:

1. The headlight switch is turned on.

2. Engine OFF

3. The front fog light is turned on.

4. The parking brake is engaged.
