Biodiesel

~1min read

Diesel fuel supplied to the fuel trade that contains no more than 7% biodiesel as a blend component, commonly known as "Diesel B7", may be used in your vehicle if the biodiesel meets the requirements of standard EN 14214 or equivalent specifications. (EN stands for "European Standard".) Using biofuels in amounts exceeding 7%, produced from rapeseed methyl ester (RME), fatty acid methyl ester (FAME), vegetable oil methyl ester (VME), etc., or mixing diesel fuel with biodiesel will increase wear or cause damage to the engine and fuel system. Repairs or replacement of parts worn or damaged as a result of using unapproved fuel are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

CAUTION
  • Never use fuels, whether diesel, B7 biodiesel or others, that do not meet the latest technical specifications of the petrochemical industry.
  • Never use any additives or fuel enhancers that are not recommended or approved by the vehicle manufacturer.
