CAUTION To avoid damaging the wires attached to the inside surface of the rear window, never use sharp tools or abrasive cleaners when cleaning it.

Rear Window Defogger

While the engine is running, the defroster heats the rear window to remove frost, fog and thin ice.

To turn on the rear window defroster, press the rear window defroster switch.

The rear window defroster indicator light will turn on.

If there is a heavy accumulation of snow on the rear window, brush off the excess snow before turning on the defroster.

The rear window defroster turns off automatically after 20 minutes or when the ignition is switched off. To turn it off manually, press the switch again.

Outside mirror defogger (if equipped)

If the vehicle is equipped with heated outside mirrors, they operate at the same time as the rear window defroster.
