If the vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, it can be slid and tilted using the control lever located on the overhead console.

The sunroof can be opened, closed, or tilted only when the ignition switch is in the ON position.

NOTE

  • In cold and humid climates, the sunroof may not operate properly due to freezing.
  • Before using the sunroof after washing the vehicle or after rain, wipe off any remaining water from it.
CAUTION
  • Do not continue to move the control lever after the sunroof has fully opened, fully closed, or tilted. This may damage the motor or system components.
  • When leaving the vehicle, check that the sunroof is fully closed. If the sunroof is open, rain or snow may enter the vehicle and wet the interior, and it may also invite theft.

CAUTION The sunroof cannot be slid when it is in the tilted position, and it cannot be tilted when it is in the open or partially open position.

WARNING
  • Never adjust the sunroof or sunshade while driving. This may cause loss of vehicle control and an accident that may result in death, serious injury, or property damage.
  • Do not allow children to play with the sunroof.
