Description and Operation

Description

Intelligent Seat Heater Control System Description

  • To prevent low-temperature burns, the seat heater temperature is automatically lowered after a certain period of time.

    (Low-temperature burn condition: more than 30 minutes at 50 °C)

Intelligent Seat Heater Control System Operation

  • After 30 minutes, change from "HIGH" to "MID", then after 60 minutes, change to "LOW".

  • Changes to "LOW" after 60 minutes in "MID".

Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the front console upper cover.

    (Refer to Body - Floor Console Assembly)

  3. Disconnect the front console upper cover switch connector (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the front console upper cover switch (A).

Installation

  1. Install the front console upper cover switch.

  2. Connect the front console upper cover switch connector.

  3. Install the front console upper cover.

  4. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
