Repair Procedures

Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Open the sunglasses case cover from the overhead console and remove the 2 screws securing the overhead console. Disconnect the switch connector and the lamp connector, then remove the lamp from the overhead console (A).

  3. Check the continuity between the terminals. If continuity is not as specified, replace the panoramic sunroof switch.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the overhead console lamp.

    (Refer to Lighting System - "Overhead Console Lamp")

  3. Remove the sunroof switch knob (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the sunroof lamp base (A).

  5. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the sunroof switch assembly (A).

Installation

  1. Install the sunroof switch assembly.

  2. Install the sunroof lamp base.

  3. Install the sunroof switch knob.

  4. Install the overhead console lamp.

  5. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
