  • When driving uphill or downhill, the Smart Cruise Control system may not be able to detect a moving vehicle in your lane and may not accelerate your vehicle to the set speed. In addition, your vehicle speed may decrease rapidly when a vehicle ahead is suddenly detected.
  • Select an appropriate set speed on slopes and adjust your vehicle speed by depressing the accelerator or brake pedal depending on the road ahead and traffic conditions.
