To apply the EPB (Electronic Parking Brake):

1. Depress the brake pedal.

2. Pull the EPB switch up.

Make sure the parking brake indicator light illuminates.

The EPB is applied automatically if the [AUTO HOLD] switch is on when the engine is turned off. However, if you press the EPB switch within one second after the engine is turned off, the EPB will not be applied.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH, do not use the EPB while the vehicle is moving, except in an emergency. This may damage the brake system and cause an accident.
