Maintenance Services

You must exercise extreme care to prevent damage to your vehicle and injury to yourself when performing any maintenance or inspection procedures.

We recommend that your vehicle be serviced and repaired at an authorized HYUNDAI dealer. Authorized HYUNDAI dealers meet HYUNDAI's high standards of service and receive technical support from HYUNDAI to provide you with a high level of customer satisfaction.

Owner Responsibility

Maintenance and record keeping are the owner's responsibility.

You should keep documents that show proper maintenance of your vehicle according to the scheduled maintenance intervals listed on the following pages. This information is necessary to confirm that your vehicle meets the maintenance and service requirements of the vehicle warranty.

Detailed warranty information is contained in the Owner's Manual and Warranty Information booklet.

Repairs and adjustments required as a result of improper maintenance or failure to perform required maintenance are not covered.

Owner Maintenance Precautions

Improper, incomplete, or insufficient maintenance may cause problems with your vehicle, which may result in vehicle damage, accident, or injury. This chapter provides instructions only for those maintenance items that are easy to perform. Some procedures may be performed only by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer with special tools.

Your vehicle must never be modified. Such modifications may adversely affect the performance, safety, or durability of your vehicle and may also void the limited vehicle warranty.

Some modifications may also violate regulations established by the U.S. Department of Transportation and other federal or state agencies.

NOTICE

Improper maintenance by the owner during the warranty period may affect warranty coverage. For details, refer to the separate Owner's Manual and Warranty Information booklet provided with your vehicle. If you are unsure about any service or maintenance procedure, contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
