To check the parking brake adjustment, slowly apply the parking brake and count the number of ratchet clicks until the brake is fully applied. The brake lever should stop after 4 to 9 clicks, and the rear wheels must be fully locked. If the parking brake is not properly adjusted or does not fully release even after the lever is fully returned, have it inspected/adjusted at a SUZUKI dealer.
