Frenata automatica con supporto alla guida

The driver support functions Adaptive Cruise Control* and Pilot Assist* have a special brake function in slow traffic and while stationary. In certain situations, the parking brake will be applied to keep the vehicle at a standstill.

Funzione di frenata nel traffico lento e da fermo

Nel traffico lento, a passo d'uomo, o quando fermi a un semaforo, la guida riprende automaticamente se il veicolo è fermo per meno di circa 3 secondi. Se il veicolo che precede impiega più di 3 secondi a ripartire, la funzione di supporto alla guida passa in modalità standby e si attiva la funzione di mantenimento automatico dei freni.

• The function can be reactivated by:
  • Pressing the button on the steering wheel keypad.
  • Pressing the accelerator pedal.
    • La funzione riprenderà a seguire il veicolo che precede se inizia a muoversi entro circa 6 secondi.

Disattivazione della funzione di mantenimento automatico dei freni

In certain situations, auto-hold will be deactivated when the vehicle is at a standstill and the function will go into standby mode. This means that the brakes will be released and the vehicle could begin to roll. The driver must actively apply the brakes to keep the vehicle stationary.

Ciò può verificarsi se:

• Il conducente preme il pedale del freno.
• Il freno di stazionamento è inserito.
• The gear selector is moved to the P, N or R position.
• Il conducente imposta il cruise control adattivo o il supporto pilota in modalità standby.

Attivazione automatica del freno di stazionamento

The parking brake will be applied if the function is keeping the vehicle stationary using the brakes and:

• Il conducente apre la portiera o slaccia la cintura di sicurezza.
• La funzione ha mantenuto il veicolo fermo per più di circa 5 minuti.
• I freni si stanno surriscaldando.
• Il conducente spegne il motore.
