PROCEDURE

Remove the vacuum hoses to the brake booster from the exhaust manifold.

Remove the idle speed control valve and its bracket.

Unscrew the retaining bracket between the intake manifold and the cylinder head cover.

Remove the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator (Caution! Residual pressure).

Disconnect the connectors on the injector wiring harness guide, as well as the connectors on the fuel injectors themselves.

Unscrew the injector wiring harness guide.

Remove both mounting bolts of the fuel distribution pipe.

Remove the fuel distribution pipe together with all fuel injectors.

Remove the retaining clips and pull the fuel injectors out of the fuel distribution pipe.

When installing, note: replace any damaged O-rings and the valve seat gaskets (in the cylinder head).

Lubricate all rubber parts with oil before installation. Install the valves together with the fuel distribution pipe.
