Unfortunately, extensive repair of injection system faults is not possible, because more thorough checks require, first of all, test instruments. Numerous measurements require special measuring instruments and test adapters so that the plug contacts are not accidentally damaged. Therefore, for a fault, we recommend the following procedure:

PROCEDURE

If the vehicle does not start, check first whether the ignition system is in order.

Next, check the fuel supply.

Then carry out a visual inspection of the injection system components.

If the fault is not found this way, refer to the fault table at the end of the chapter, read the fault memory at the workshop, and check the suspect component according to the specified diagram.

Note: If the injection system has completely failed, first check fuses No. 13, 21, 25, 27 and 28.
