Temporary tyre repair kit
Consisting of a compressor and a sealant cartridge, it allows a temporary repair of the tyre so that you can reach the nearest garage.
It is designed to repair most punctures located on the tread.
The vehicle's electrical system allows the compressor to be connected to the 12 V socket for the time needed to repair the damaged tyre.
For more information on the onboard tool kit, refer to the corresponding section.
The tyre inflation pressures are shown on this label.
For more information on identification elements, including this label, refer to the corresponding section.
If the pressure of one or more tyres is changed, the underinflation detection system must be reset.
For more information on underinflation detection, refer to the corresponding section.
Repair procedure
Do not remove any foreign object (e.g. nail, screw) that has penetrated the tyre.
► Park without obstructing traffic and apply the parking brake.
► Apply the safety measures (hazard warning lights, warning triangle, high-visibility vest, etc.) in accordance with the legislation in force in the country of travel.
► Switch off the ignition.
► Remove the valve cap from the tyre to be repaired and keep it in a clean place.

► Connect the hose of the sealant bottle to the valve of the tyre to be repaired and tighten firmly.
► Connect the compressor hose to the sealant bottle.
► Check that the compressor switch is set to the "O" position.
► Fully unwind the power cable stored under the compressor.
► Connect the compressor plug to one of the vehicle's 12 V sockets.
► Stick on the speed limit sticker.
The speed limit sticker must be stuck inside the vehicle, in an area close to the driver, to remind them that a temporary-use wheel is fitted.
► Switch on the ignition.

► Start the compressor by setting the switch to the "I" position until the tyre pressure reaches 2 bar. The sealant is injected into the tyre under pressure; do not disconnect the hose from the valve during this operation (risk of splashing).
If the pressure of 2 bar is not reached after approximately 7 minutes, the tyre cannot be repaired; contact the CITROËN network or a qualified workshop for vehicle recovery.
► Set the switch to the "O" position.
► Disconnect the compressor plug from the vehicle's 12 V socket.
► Remove the kit.
► Refit the valve cap.
► Remove and store the sealant bottle.
The sealant is harmful if swallowed and irritating to the eyes.
Keep this product out of the reach of children.
The expiry date of the fluid is printed on the bottle.
After use, do not dispose of the bottle in the environment; return it to the CITROËN network or to a body responsible for its recovery.
Remember to replace it with a new bottle, available from the CITROËN network or a qualified workshop.

► Drive immediately for approximately 5 kilometres at reduced speed (between 20 and 60 km/h) to seal the puncture.
► Stop to check the repair and check the pressure using the kit.
Do not exceed a speed of 80 km/h and do not drive more than 80 km on a tyre repaired with this type of kit.
You must contact the CITROËN network or a qualified workshop to check the repair and replace the tyre.
Pressure check / Occasional inflation
The compressor can be used, without injecting sealant, to occasionally check or inflate the tyres.
► Remove the tyre valve cap and keep it in a clean place.
► Unwind the hose stored under the compressor.
► Screw the hose onto the valve and tighten firmly.
► Check that the compressor switch is set to the "O" position.
► Fully unwind the power cable stored under the compressor.
► Connect the compressor plug to one of the vehicle's 12 V sockets.
► Switch on the ignition.
► Start the compressor by setting the switch to the "I" position and adjust the pressure in accordance with the vehicle tyre pressure label. To deflate: press the black button on the compressor hose, at the valve connector.
If the pressure of 2 bar is not reached after 7 minutes, the tyre is damaged; contact the CITROËN network or a qualified workshop for vehicle recovery.
► Once the pressure is reached, set the switch to the "O" position.
► Remove the kit, then store it.
► Refit the valve cap.
