  5. Deactivating the rear seat window switches

Manual operation

► To open / close the window, press / pull the switch without going past the detent; the window stops as soon as the switch is released.

Automatic operation

► To open / close the window, press / pull the switch past the detent; the window opens / closes fully after the switch is released.

A further press stops the window movement.

The window switches remain operational for approximately 45 seconds after the ignition is switched off or after the vehicle is locked.

After this time, the switches no longer work. To reactivate them, switch the ignition on or unlock the vehicle.

Anti-pinch

When the window is closing and meets an obstacle, it stops and then immediately lowers partially.

Deactivating the rear window switches

For child safety, press switch 5 to deactivate the rear window switches, whatever their positions.

The red light on the button comes on, with a confirmation message displayed. It stays on as long as deactivation is in effect.

The rear electric windows can still be operated from the driver's switches.

Resetting the windows

After reconnecting the battery or if a window moves abnormally, reset the anti-pinch function.

The anti-pinch function does not work during these operations.

For each window:

► Lower the window fully, then raise it; it will move up in steps of a few centimetres with each action. Repeat the operation until the window is fully closed.

► Keep the switch pulled for at least one second after the window reaches the closed position.

If the window pinches anything while being operated, reverse its movement by pressing the corresponding switch.

When the driver operates the passenger window switches, they must make sure nothing prevents the windows from closing correctly.

The driver must make sure that passengers use the windows correctly.

Take particular care with children when operating the windows.

Take care with passengers and/or people nearby when closing the windows remotely using the electronic key.

Do not put your head or arms out of open windows while the vehicle is moving - Risk of serious injury!
