The panoramic sunroof consists of a sliding glass panel that slides over the roof, and a sunshade that can be opened independently. Opening the roof automatically opens the sunshade.

► To open and close the roof or the sunshade, use the buttons located on the overhead console.

Ouvertures
  1. Sunshade control
  2. Sunroof control

The roof or the sunshade can be operated as soon as the ignition is switched on (with sufficient battery charge), with the engine running, in Stop mode of the Stop & Start system, and for up to 45 seconds after the ignition is switched off or after the vehicle is locked.

Precautions

Do not put your head or arms through the sunroof while the vehicle is moving - Risk of serious injury!

Check that luggage and accessories carried on the roof bars do not obstruct the sunroof operation.

Do not place heavy loads on the sunroof glass panel.

If the sunroof is wet, after a shower or after washing the vehicle, wait until it is completely dry before operating it.

Do not operate the sunroof if it is covered with snow or ice - Risk of damage! To clear snow or ice from the sunroof, use plastic tools only.

Regularly check the condition of the sunroof seals (e.g. for dust or dead leaves).

When washing the vehicle at a car wash, first check that the sunroof is properly closed and do not direct the high-pressure lance within 30 centimetres of the seals.

Never leave the vehicle with the sunroof open.

Operation

When the roof is fully opened, the sliding glass panel first moves to the tilted (vent) position, then slides over the roof. All intermediate positions are possible.

Depending on vehicle speed, the vent position may vary to improve acoustics.

Before pressing the roof or sunshade control button, make sure nothing and nobody is preventing the movement.

Take particular care with children when operating the roof or the sunshade.

If the roof or sunshade pinches anything while being operated, reverse its movement by pressing the corresponding control button.

The driver must make sure that passengers use the sunroof and sunshade correctly.

Anti-pinch system

If the roof or sunshade meets an obstacle while closing, the movement is automatically reversed.

The sunroof anti-pinch system is designed to be effective up to 120 km/h.

Opening / Closing

► To open the roof or the sunshade, use the part of the button located toward the rear of the vehicle.

► To close the roof or the sunshade, use the part of the button located toward the front of the vehicle.

Button operation

► A single press beyond the resistance point of a button causes the roof or sunshade to fully open or close.

► A second press stops the movement in progress.

► Holding a button pressed (without going past the resistance point) stops the movement of the glass panel or sunshade when the button is released.

► Roof closed: a single press, without going past the resistance point, moves it to the tilted (vent) position.

► Roof tilted: a single press, without going past the resistance point, fully opens or closes it.

The roof and windows, then the sunshade, can be closed by holding the door locking control. The movement stops as soon as the locking control is released.

Closing the sunshade is limited by the position of the sunroof: the sunshade cannot go past the front of the sliding glass panel. During simultaneous movements of the roof and sunshade, the sunshade stops or resumes its movement automatically depending on the position of the roof.

Resetting

After reconnecting the battery, or if the sunroof or sunshade malfunctions or moves jerkily, a reset is required.

► Check that nothing obstructs the movement of the roof or sunshade, and that the seals are clean.

► With the ignition on, fully close the roof and the sunshade.

► Press and hold the front part of button B without interruption until the roof and sunshade move slightly, then hold for 1 second more before releasing.

► Wait 2 seconds, then press and hold the front part of button B again without interruption. The sunshade and roof will open and close one after the other. Once both are fully closed again, hold for 2 more seconds and release.

If an operating error occurs, repeat the entire procedure.
