Thermal pre-conditioning (Plug-in hybrid)

This function allows you to schedule the cabin to reach a predefined, non-adjustable comfort temperature (approximately 21ºC) before you get into the vehicle, on the days and at the times you choose.

This function is available whether the vehicle is plugged in or not.

Programming

(With CITROËN Connect Nav)

In the Climate > OPTIONS menu:

Select Climate scheduling.

► Press + to add a schedule.

► Choose the time you want to get into the vehicle and the desired days. Press OK.

► Press ON to activate this schedule.

Thermal pre-conditioning starts approximately 45 minutes before the scheduled time when the vehicle is plugged in (20 minutes when it is not plugged in) and continues for 10 minutes after.

This indicator light is on steadily when a thermal pre-conditioning is scheduled.

It flashes when thermal pre-conditioning is in progress.

Several schedules can be set.

Each one is stored in the system.

To optimise battery range, it is recommended to set a schedule with the vehicle plugged in.

Scheduling can also be done from a smartphone using the MyCitroën App.

With CITROËN Connect Radio, scheduling can only be done from a smartphone using the app.

The fan noise that occurs when thermal pre-conditioning is activated is completely normal.

Operating conditions

- The function only activates with the ignition off and the vehicle locked.

- When the vehicle is not plugged in, the function only activates if the battery charge level is above 20%.

- When the vehicle is not plugged in and a recurring schedule is active (example: Monday to Friday) and 2 thermal pre-conditionings are carried out without the vehicle being used, the schedule is switched off.
