Adjustment

► Move control A to the right or left to select the corresponding mirror.
► Move control B in the four directions to make the adjustment.
► Return control A to the centre position.
For safety reasons, the mirrors must be adjusted to reduce the "blind spot".
Objects seen in the mirrors are actually closer than they appear. Take this into account when judging the distance to vehicles approaching from behind.
Manual folding

The mirrors can be folded manually (restricted parking, narrow garage, etc.).
► Turn the mirror towards the vehicle.
Electric folding
Depending on equipment, the mirrors can be folded electrically when the vehicle is parked.

► Pull control A towards the rear.
► From outside, lock the vehicle.
Electric unfolding
► From outside: unlock the vehicle.
► From inside: with the ignition on, place control A in the centre position, then pull it towards the rear.
Automatic folding / unfolding of the exterior mirrors with the remote control is set in the Driving / Vehicle menu of the touchscreen.
Automatic tilt when reversing

Depending on version, this function automatically tilts the mirrors downwards to make reverse parking manoeuvres easier.
With the engine running, as soon as reverse gear is engaged, the mirrors tilt downwards.
They return to their original positions:
- A few seconds after reverse gear is disengaged.
- As soon as the speed exceeds 10 km/h.
- When the engine is switched off.
This is set in the Driving / Vehicle menu of the touchscreen.
Demisting / Defrosting
On equipped vehicles, the exterior mirrors are demisted / defrosted by pressing the rear window defrost control.
For more information on demisting / defrosting the rear window, refer to the corresponding section.
Interior rear-view mirror
Equipped with an anti-glare device that darkens the mirror and reduces driver discomfort caused by sunlight, the headlights of other vehicles, etc.
Manual model
Day/night position

► Pull the lever to switch to the anti-glare "night" position.
► Push the lever to switch to the normal "day" position.
Adjustment

Automatic "electrochromic" models

The electrochromic system uses a sensor that takes into account the ambient light level, as well as the light coming from behind the vehicle, to automatically and gradually switch between day and night modes.
To ensure optimum visibility when manoeuvring, the mirror automatically clears as soon as reverse gear is engaged.
The system is deactivated if the load in the boot exceeds the level of the parcel shelf or if the parcel shelf is cluttered.
