DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) radio
Digital Terrestrial Radio
Digital radio provides higher-quality listening.
The various "multiplexes/ensembles" offer a choice of radio stations listed in alphabetical order.
Press Radio Media to display the main page.
Press "Band ..." at the top right of the screen to display the "DAB" band.
DAB-FM tracking
DAB does not cover 100% of the territory.
When the digital signal quality is poor, "DAB-FM automatic tracking" allows you to keep listening to the same station by automatically switching to the corresponding analogue "FM" radio (if it exists).
Press Radio Media to display the main page.
Press the "OPTIONS" button to access the secondary page.
Select "Radio settings".
Select "General".
Activate / Deactivate "FM-DAB Tracking".
Turn "Station tracking" on / off.
Press "OK".
If "DAB-FM automatic tracking" is enabled, there may be a delay of a few seconds when the system switches to analogue "FM" radio, sometimes with a change in volume.
When the digital signal quality becomes good again, the system automatically switches back to "DAB".
To minimise this delay, it is recommended to store radio stations in the "DAB" band.
If the listened "DAB" station is not available on "FM" ("DAB-FM" option greyed out), or if "DAB / FM automatic tracking" is not enabled, the sound cuts out when the digital signal quality becomes poor.
