This control prevents the rear doors from being opened using the interior handles.

Activation / Deactivation

► With the ignition on, press this button to activate / deactivate the child safety lock.

A message display confirms activation / deactivation of the child safety lock.

When the indicator is on, the child safety lock is activated.

Child safety lock activated, the doors can still be opened from the outside.

This system is independent and in no way replaces the central locking control.

Check the status of the child safety lock each time the ignition is switched on.

Always keep the electronic key with you when leaving the vehicle, even for a short time.

In the event of a severe impact, the electric child safety lock is automatically deactivated to allow rear passengers to get out.
