Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Discharge A/C system..

3. Raise the vehicle.

4. Heat shield mounting nuts, bracket bolt 130,.

heat shield and bracket..

5. Compressor electrical connectors..

6. Hose connection block..

7. Loosen bolts 131 of front and rear brackets and adjusting nut

8. Drive belt tension adjusting bolt 132..

9. Drive belt

10. Front and rear bracket bolts and compressor

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Compressor bolts. Tighten front bracket bolt to 35 N·m. Tighten rear bracket bolt to 25 N·m..

2. Drive belt

3. Drive belt tension adjusting bolt 132 (do not fully tighten).

4. Hose connection block..

5. Compressor electrical connectors..

6. Heat shield and bracket. Tighten mounting nuts.

heat shield to 35 N·m. Tighten bracket bolt.

to 45 N·m..

7. Adjust compressor drive belt tension to 400 N ± 50 N..

8. Drive belt tension adjusting bolt 132. Tighten bolt to 32 N·m..

9. Compressor mounting bolts..

10. Lower the vehicle..

11. Negative battery cable..

12. Evacuate air and charge A/C system with refrigerant..

13. Inspect for signs of refrigerant leakage. If leakage is found, repair leaks, evacuate air and charge A/C system with refrigerant.
