STARTING AND OPERATING

ACC Stop Operation

~1min read

If the ACC system stops your vehicle while following a vehicle ahead, and the vehicle ahead begins to move within two seconds after your vehicle comes to a stop, your vehicle will resume moving without any action required by the driver.

If the vehicle ahead does not start moving within two seconds after your vehicle stops, ACC with Stop is canceled and the brakes are released. A cancellation message will appear in the instrument cluster display, and a warning chime will sound. Driver intervention is required at this point.

While ACC with Stop is holding the vehicle stationary, if the driver's seat belt is unbuckled or the driver's door is opened, ACC with Stop will be canceled and the brakes will be released. A cancellation message will appear in the instrument cluster display and a warning chime will sound. Driver intervention is required at this point.
