Turn Off

The system will turn off and erase the set speed from memory if:

  • The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) on/off button is pressed
  • The fixed speed cruise control on/off button is pressed.
  • The ignition is turned to the OFF position

Resume

If a set speed is in memory, press the RES (resume) button and remove your foot from the accelerator pedal. The last set speed will be displayed in the instrument cluster display.

Resume can be used at any speed above 20 mph (32 km/h) if only fixed speed cruise control is in use.

Resume can be used at any speed above 0 km/h when ACC is active.

NOTE:

  • In ACC mode, when the vehicle comes to a complete stop for longer than two seconds, the system will turn off. The driver must apply the brake pedal to hold the vehicle stationary.
  • ACC cannot be resumed if a stationary vehicle is directly ahead of your vehicle.
