The following conditions turn off the Adaptive Cruise Control or Fixed Speed Cruise Control systems:

  • Brake pedal is pressed
  • CANC (cancel) button is pressed
  • Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) is activated
  • The transmission selector is moved out of the DRIVE position
  • Electronic Stability Control/Traction Control System (ESC/TCS) is activated
  • Vehicle parking brake is applied
  • Brake temperature exceeds normal range (overheating)

The following conditions will cancel the ACC system only:

  • Driver seat belt is unbuckled at low speeds
  • Driver door is opened at low speeds
