Installing electrical/electronic devices
Electrical/electronic devices installed after the vehicle is purchased, through the aftersales service, must be marked as follows:

Fiat Auto S.p.A. approves the installation of transmitting and receiving equipment, provided the installation is carried out correctly, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, at a specialist centre.
Note: installing equipment that changes vehicle characteristics may result in the vehicle registration document being withdrawn by the competent authorities and may void the warranty, limited to the defects caused by or directly or indirectly related to the above modification.
Fiat Auto S.p.A. accepts no liability for damage caused by accessories that were not supplied or recommended by Fiat Auto S.p.A. or that were not installed in accordance with the instructions provided.
Radio transmitters and mobile phonesRadio transmitters (mobile phones, CB radios, etc.) may only be used inside the vehicle if a separate external antenna has been installed on the vehicle.
Note: using these devices inside the passenger compartment without an external antenna may, in addition to possible health risks to passengers, cause malfunctions in the vehicle's electronic systems, which may compromise vehicle safety.
In addition, the shielding effect of the vehicle body could reduce the transmission and reception performance of these devices.
For use of officially EC-approved
mobile phones (GSM, GPRS,
UMTS), it is strongly recommended to follow the instructions of the respective manufacturer.
