Parking sensors

The parking sensors give the driver information on the distance to obstacles behind the vehicle (versions with 4 rear sensors) or in front of and behind the vehicle (versions with 4 front and 4 rear sensors) during the approach phase.

The system therefore assists with parking, as it detects obstacles outside the driver's field of vision.

The presence and distance of obstacles to the vehicle are indicated to the driver by a variable acoustic signal, whose frequency depends on the distance to the obstacle (the frequency of the acoustic signal increases as the distance to the obstacle decreases).
