Assist Mode

What Is Assist Mode

Assist Mode provides temporary steering assistance to return the vehicle to the center of the lane.

How Assist Mode Works

The Lane Keeping System assists you when an unintentional lane departure occurs. The system provides a small steering input to move the vehicle toward the center of the lane.

Alert and Assist Mode

What Is Alert and Assist Mode

Alert and Assist Mode uses several functions to keep you in your lane. The system primarily provides a small steering input to bring your vehicle back toward the center of the lane. If your vehicle drifts too far from the center of the lane, the system alerts you with steering wheel vibration.

The Lane Keeping System detects a lane departure and provides assistance when vehicle wheels cross B and applies additional warning if A is crossed.
