Window Bounce-Back

What is Window Bounce-Back

The window stops and reverses direction if it detects an obstruction while closing.

Overriding Window Bounce-Back

Pull up the window switch and hold it for a few seconds after the window reaches the closed position. The window travels without bounce-back protection. The window stops if you release the switch before the window is fully closed.

Rear Window Controls Lockout

Ford Escape. Window Bounce-Back. Locking the Rear Window ControlsPress the control to lock or unlock the rear window controls. The indicator illuminates when the rear window controls are locked.
