Replacement of Transmission Control Solenoid Valves
PROCEDURE
Solenoid Valve A and the clutch pressure control solenoid valves cannot be replaced individually; they are replaced as an assembly, whereas Solenoid Valves B and C can be replaced separately.

1. Remove the valve body mounting bolts and remove the valve body assembly.

2. Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces and clear the oil passages.
3. Replace the gasket/O-ring and install the new valve body assembly in its original position. Tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque.
4. Check the electrical connector for contamination and corrosion of the contact terminals; clean and reconnect if necessary.
5. Check that the control solenoid valves operate correctly.
