The vehicle is equipped with heated outside rearview mirrors, which help remove a thin layer of ice or condensation from the mirrors. The mirror heaters are activated by pressing the rear window defroster switch. The ignition switch must be in the ON (II) position. When the heater is on, the indicator built into the button illuminates.

To turn off the mirror heaters and the rear window defroster, press the same button again.
