For all vehicle versions

Map lights are turned on by pressing the lenses. To turn off the light, press the lens again. Map lights can be used at any time.

For vehicles equipped with sunshades

The map lights are controlled by a two-position switch. In the DOOR position, the map lights come on when any door is opened. In the OFF position, the map lights do not come on.

The map lights (when the switch is in the DOOR position) also come on when the doors are unlocked with the key or the remote transmitter, and when the ignition key is removed.
