While giving voice commands, the phone control system puts the call on hold or temporarily stops voice recognition. The current call is reactivated after the voice command is completed. To resume operation of the system, press the call button. After the short beep, say the appropriate command.

In addition, voice control operation of the phone control system is suspended while an alarm signal is received.
