PROCEDURE

1. Inspect each valve for the following defects:

– damage or deformation of the valve stem;
– damage to the valve head;
– damage or uneven wear of the valve stem end.

Margin thickness:

Intake valves: 1.1 mm
Exhaust valves: 1.4 mm
Minimum allowable margin thickness:
Intake valves: 0.8 mm
Exhaust valves: 1.1 mm
