PROCEDURE

1. Inspect the lip of the oil seal for wear. If the lip is worn or damaged, replace the oil seal.
2. Inspect the camshaft surface contacting the oil seal. If this surface is evenly worn, replace the camshaft.
Camshaft end play: 0.07–0.28 mm.
