Fuel Filter Replacement

1. Relieve the residual fuel pressure from the high-pressure fuel lines by performing the following operations:

• After removing the rear seat cushion, disconnect the fuel pump connector.

• Start the engine. Let it run, and after the engine stalls on its own, turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.

• Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

• Connect the fuel pump connector.

2. Hold the nuts on the filter and loosen the bolts securing the fuel lines to the filter.

Cover the fuel system connection points with a rag to catch spilled fuel.

3. Loosen the filter mounting bolts and remove the filter.

4. Install a new filter. After completing the work, check for fuel leaks.
