ПРИНЦИП РАБОТЫ И НАЗНАЧЕНИЕ

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

The crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (magnetic inductive type) consists of a magnet and a coil located near the engine flywheel. The teeth of the CKP sensor rotor are used by the sensor to generate signals (voltage pulses). The ECM uses the CKP sensor signal to determine engine speed and crankshaft position.

DTC SET CONDITIONS

[For DTC P0335] The ECM will set DTC P0335 and illuminate the MIL if the CKP sensor signal voltage stays at about 0.0 V for the first 4 seconds (or the first 8 crankshaft revolutions) while the engine is cranked by the starter, and the CMP sensor signal shows that the engine shaft is rotating. This check is performed at every engine start. This DTC indicates that there is no crankshaft position signal from the CKP sensor or the ECM when the CMP sensor signal shows that the engine shaft is rotating.

[For DTC P0336] The ECM will set DTC P0336 and illuminate the MIL if the CKP sensor signal does not show two missing teeth at the same points on the sensor rotor over two consecutive crankshaft revolutions. This check is performed every 5 seconds when the engine speed is above 2000 rpm. This DTC indicates a malfunction related to crankshaft position detection by the CKP sensor or the ECM.
