Headlight bulbs

~1min read
WARNING - Halogen bulbs - This type of bulb contains pressurized gas that produces glass fragments if broken. - Always handle them carefully and avoid scratches and abrasions. If the bulbs are lit, avoid contact with liquids. Never touch the glass with bare hands. Oil residue can cause the bulb to overheat and burst when it is turned on. Work on the bulb only when it is installed in a headlight. - If a bulb is damaged or broken, replace it immediately and dispose of it according to regulations. - Wear eye protection when changing a bulb. Let the bulb cool before handling it.

NOTE

If headlight aiming adjustment is required after an accident and the headlight assembly has been reinstalled, it is recommended that the adjustment be performed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

Changing the driving direction (For Europe)

The low beam light distribution is asymmetrical. If you travel abroad to a country with the opposite driving direction, this asymmetrical part will dazzle oncoming drivers. To prevent glare, the ECE regulation requires different technical solutions (e.g., automatic adjustment system, adhesive foil, downward aiming). These headlights are designed so as not to dazzle drivers coming from the opposite direction. Therefore, it is not necessary to modify the headlights when driving in a country with the opposite driving direction.
