Paint Damage Repair

Deep scratches or dents in the painted surface must be repaired promptly. Exposed metal rusts quickly and can lead to large repair costs.

NOTE

If the vehicle is damaged and requires repair or replacement of metal parts, make sure the body shop applies anti-corrosion material to the repaired or replaced parts.

Chrome Maintenance

- To remove tar and insects, use a suitable product, not a scraper or other sharp objects.

- To protect the surfaces of bright metal parts from corrosion, apply a coat of wax or a chrome preservative.

- In winter or in coastal areas, apply a thicker layer of wax or preservative to the bright metal parts. If necessary, apply a layer of non-corrosive petroleum jelly or other protective compounds to these parts.
