Hyundai i30. Cargo area cover

Use the cover to hide items stored in the cargo area.

The luggage compartment cover will rise when the tailgate is opened.

Disconnect the strap (1) from the holder if you want to return the cover to its original position. To remove the cover completely, close the cargo area, lift the cover at a 50-degree angle, and pull it out (2).

NOTICE

Since the luggage compartment cover can be damaged or deformed, do not place luggage on it when it is in use.

WARNING

  • Do not place objects on the luggage compartment cover while driving. Such objects may be thrown inside the vehicle and may injure passengers during an accident or sudden braking.
  • Never allow anyone to ride in the luggage compartment. It is designed for cargo only.
  • Maintain vehicle balance and place heavy items as far forward as possible.
