The power outlet is designed to supply power to mobile phones or other devices designed to operate with the vehicle's electrical system. Devices should draw less than 180 W (Watts) with the engine running.
WARNING
Avoid electric shock. Do not insert fingers or foreign objects (pin, etc.) into the power outlet or touch the power outlet with wet hands.
NOTICE
To avoid damaging the power outlet:
- Use the power outlet only when the engine is running and remove the accessory plug after use. Using the accessory plug for extended periods with the engine off may discharge the battery.
- Use only 12 V electrical accessories that are less than 180 W (Watts) in electrical power.
- Adjust the air conditioner or heater to the minimum operating level when using the power outlet.
- Keep the cover closed when the outlet is not in use.
- Some electronic devices may cause electronic interference when connected to the vehicle power outlet. These devices may cause excessive static noise and malfunction of other electronic systems or devices in your vehicle.
- Insert the plug all the way in. If good contact is not made, the plug may overheat and the fuse may blow.
- Connect the battery to electrical/electronic devices with reverse current protection. Electric current from the battery may flow into the vehicle's electrical/electronic system and cause a system malfunction.
