To use the cigarette lighter, the ignition switch must be in the ACC or ON position.

Push the cigarette lighter all the way into its socket. When the element heats up, the lighter will pop out to the ready position.

We recommend using replacement parts from a HYUNDAI authorized repairer.

WARNING

  • Do not hold the lighter after it has already heated, as it will overheat.
  • If the lighter does not pop out within 30 seconds, remove it to prevent overheating.
  • Do not insert foreign objects into the cigarette lighter socket. This may damage the cigarette lighter.

NOTICE

Only the original HYUNDAI cigarette lighter should be used in the cigarette lighter socket. Using plug-in accessories (shavers, handheld vacuums, coffee makers, etc.) may damage the socket or cause an electrical failure.
