Maintenance
You must exercise the utmost care to prevent damage to your vehicle and injury to yourself when performing any maintenance or inspection procedures.
We recommend that your vehicle be serviced and repaired by an authorized HYUNDAI service center. An authorized HYUNDAI service center meets HYUNDAI's high service quality standards and receives technical support from HYUNDAI to provide you with a high level of service satisfaction.
Owner Responsibility
Maintenance and record keeping are the responsibility of the owner.
You should keep documents that show proper maintenance has been performed on your vehicle in accordance with the scheduled maintenance. You need this information to establish your compliance with the warranty maintenance and repair requirements for your vehicle.
Detailed warranty information is provided in the warranty booklet.
Repairs and adjustments necessitated by improper care or lack of required maintenance are not covered.
Owner Maintenance Precautions
Inadequate, incomplete, or insufficient maintenance may cause problems with your vehicle to occur, which may result in vehicle damage, an accident, or personal injury. This chapter contains instructions only for maintenance items that are easy to perform. Some procedures should be performed only by an authorized HYUNDAI technician with special tools.
Your vehicle should not be modified in any way. Such modifications may adversely affect the performance, safety, or durability of your vehicle and may also violate the terms of the limited warranties covering the vehicle.
NOTICE
Failure to perform maintenance during the warranty period may affect warranty coverage. For details, refer to the separate Warranty Booklet provided with your vehicle. If you are not sure of any maintenance procedure, we recommend that the system be serviced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
