Bulbs
Consult an authorized HYUNDAI dealer to replace most vehicle bulbs. Replacing bulbs is difficult because other vehicle parts must be removed before you can reach the bulb. This is especially true when removing the headlamp assembly to access the bulb(s).
Removing/installing the headlamp assembly may cause damage to the vehicle.
WARNING
Before working on a light, firmly apply the parking brake, make sure the ignition switch is in the LOCK/OFF position, and turn off the light to avoid sudden vehicle movement, burning your fingers, or receiving an electric shock.
NOTICE
Be sure to replace a burned-out bulb with one of the same power rating. Otherwise, this may cause damage to the fuse or electrical wiring system.
Information
After heavy rain or washing, the headlamp and taillamp lenses may appear frosted. This condition is caused by the temperature difference between the lamp inside and outside. It is similar to condensation on your windows inside your vehicle during rain and does not indicate a problem with your vehicle. If water enters the lamp bulb circuit, we recommend that the system be inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Information
Headlamp aim must be adjusted after an accident or after the headlamp assembly is reinstalled. Visit an authorized HYUNDAI service center.
Information - Traffic Side Change
The low beam light distribution is asymmetric. If you drive to a country with opposite traffic direction, this asymmetric part will dazzle the driver of an oncoming vehicle. To prevent dazzling, ECE regulations require several technical solutions (for example, an automatic changeover system, a sticker, downward aiming). These headlamps are designed so as not to dazzle oncoming drivers. Therefore, you do not need to change your headlamps in a country with opposite traffic direction.
