Parking Brake Inspection

Check the parking brake travel by counting the number of "clicks" heard when fully applying it from the released position. Also, the parking brake alone should securely hold the vehicle on a sufficiently steep grade. If the travel is more or less than specified, we recommend that the system be serviced by an authorized HYUNDAI service center.

Travel: 5 to 6 "clicks" with a force of 20 kg (44 lb, 196 N).
