The driver can switch to the conventional cruise control mode (speed-only control function) by performing the following steps:

1. Press the CRUISE button on the steering wheel to turn the system on. Cruise (Hyundai Palisade. Mode) indicator will illuminate.

2. Press and hold the vehicle distance button for more than 2 seconds.

3. Select "Smart Cruise Control" and "Cruise Control".

When canceling the system using the CRUISE button or the CRUISE button is used after the engine is started, the Smart Cruise Control mode will turn on.

WARNING

When using the conventional cruise control mode, you must manually adjust the distance to other vehicles by pressing the brake pedal. The system does not automatically adjust the distance to vehicles ahead of you.
