Day/Night Rearview Mirror

A: Day, B: Night

Before driving at night, pull the day/night lever toward you to reduce glare from the headlights of vehicles behind you.

Be aware that rear view clarity is reduced in the night position.

Electrochromic Mirror

When the engine is running, glare from the headlights of vehicles behind you is automatically controlled by a sensor installed in the rearview mirror.

When the transmission is shifted to R (Reverse), the mirror automatically switches to the brightest setting to improve the driver's view of the area behind the vehicle.
