The power outlet is designed to supply power to mobile phones or other devices designed to operate with the vehicle's electrical system. Devices must consume less than 180 W with the engine running.
WARNING
Avoid electric shock. Do not place your fingers or foreign objects (pins, etc.) into the power outlet, or touch the power outlet with wet hands.
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the power outlet:
- Use the power outlet only when the engine is running, and remove the plug after use. Using the plug for a long period with the engine off may discharge the battery.
- Use only 12-volt accessories rated at less than 180 W of electrical power.
- Set the air conditioner or heater to the lowest operating level when using the power outlet.
- Keep the cover closed when the outlet is not in use.
- Some electronic devices may cause electronic interference when connected to the vehicle power outlet.
- Insert the plug fully. A loose plug may overheat, and the fuse may blow.
- Connect only devices with reverse current protection, or current from the battery may flow back into the device and damage the vehicle's electrical/electronic system.
